The Detroit Red Wings were in full flight Thursday night. Marian Hossa, Dan Cleary, Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg each had a goal and an assist in Stanley Cup champion Detroit's 6-1 victory over the Dallas Stars. Kirk Maltby and Tomas Holmstrom also scored in Detroit's fifth straight victory, Niklas Kronwall added three assists, and Chris Osgood made 22 saves.

Daymond Langkow and the Calgary Flames made the New York Islanders' pay for their mistakes. Langkow scored his 15th goal and added two assists in the Flames' 5-2 victory over the Islanders on Thursday night. Just 55 seconds after Jeff Tambellini's late second-period goal drew the Islanders even at 2, Langkow put the Flames back in front with 3:02 left in the period.
